Life story

Maria was born in Freiburg in 1954 and grew up with three siblings on a small farm. For almost forty years she was a primary school teacher – many former pupils still greet her today. Her great loves were her garden, her grandchildren and long Sunday walks.

Is an app needed to scan the code?

No. The camera of any current iPhone or Android phone recognises the code and opens the page in the browser.

How is the plaque mounted?

With industrial 3M VHB tape made for outdoor use. Clean the stone, let it dry, press on – no drilling. Illustrated instructions are included.

Am I allowed to mount it at the cemetery?

In most cases yes. Because cemetery rules vary, we recommend a quick check with the cemetery administration.

Can I change the content later?

Yes, any time in your account: life story, photos, video, chapters and visibility. The engraving itself stays as ordered.

How long does the page stay online?

That depends on the package – the terms are shown with each price. We also back up every page as a static copy.

What if the plaque gets damaged?

Order a replacement with exactly the same code in your account. The memorial page stays unchanged.

Who can see the memorial page?

By default only people who scan the code or receive the link. You can also make the page publicly searchable.

How long does delivery take?

Engraving usually happens within a few working days of payment. You can follow the progress in your account.
